Eksplorasi Identitas Perempuan dalam Novel Sisi Tergelap Surga Karya Brian Khrisna: Tinjauan Feminisme dalam Perspektif Sosial dan Budaya
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk-bentuk identitas perempuan dalam novel Sisi Tergelap Surga karya Brian Khrisna ditinjau dari perspektif sosial dan budaya. Fokus penelitian ini diarahkan pada upaya menganalisis permasalahan sosial dan budaya, khususnya persepsi masyarakat dan budaya patriarki yang mengekang kebebasan dan identitas perempuan. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian kualitatif metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan kajian feminisme Simone de Beauvoir. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi teknik baca, teknik catat, dan teknik analisis isi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian, ditemukan total 28 data pada tokoh perempuan yang meliputi sebanyak 10 data pada identitas perempuan sebagai individu, sebanyak 4 data pada identitas perempuan sebagai ibu, sebanyak 4 data pada identitas perempuan sebagai istri, dan sebanyak 10 data pada identitas perempuan sebagai anggota masyarakat. Hasil penelitian pada novel ini juga menunjukkan kompleksitas identitas perempuan dalam masyarakat sekaligus menggambarkan ketimpangan relasi gender terhadap citra perempuan yang terkekang oleh stigma sosial, stereotip dan pengaruh budaya patriarki yang mengakar.
