Strategi Leksikografi Kamus Simalungun-Indonesia : Integrasi Pelestarian Bahasa Daerah
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi leksikografi dalam penyusunan kamus dwibahasa Indonesia–Simalungun sebagai upaya pelestarian bahasa daerah Simalungun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian pustaka dan analisis linguistik. Data diperoleh dari korpus bahasa Simalungun, sumber tertulis, serta referensi teoretis mengenai leksikografi dan kamus dwibahasa. Analisis dilakukan melalui tahap pemilahan lema, penentuan padanan makna berdasarkan prinsip ekivalensi semantik, serta perancangan struktur entri kamus yang mencakup kelas kata, definisi, dan contoh penggunaan dalam konteks budaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi penyusunan kamus Indonesia–Simalungun yang efektif mencakup: (1) seleksi lema berbasis frekuensi dan relevansi budaya, (2) penentuan padanan makna yang mempertimbangkan konteks semantik dan pragmatik, (3) penyajian entri yang sistematis dan konsisten sesuai prinsip leksikografi modern, serta (4) integrasi unsur budaya lokal dalam deskripsi makna. Strategi tersebut tidak hanya mendukung akurasi linguistik, tetapi juga memperkuat fungsi kamus sebagai media dokumentasi dan revitalisasi bahasa. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kamus dwibahasa dapat berperan sebagai instrumen edukatif dan kultural yang mendukung pelestarian bahasa Simalungun serta memperkuat identitas budaya masyarakat daerah di tengah arus globalisasi.
