Analisis Minat dan Ketersediaan Fasilitas Sekolah terhadap Pengembangan Literasi di SMP
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh minat belajar dan ketersediaan fasilitas sekolah terhadap pengembangan literasi siswa di SMP Negeri 7 Medan. Menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran (mixed methods), penelitian ini menggabungkan data kuantitatif dari kuesioner dengan data kualitatif dari wawancara dan observasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa baik minat belajar maupun fasilitas sekolah memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan literasi siswa. Namun, secara parsial, hanya fasilitas sekolah yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap literasi (p = 0,045), sedangkan minat belajar tidak signifikan secara statistik (p = 0,124). Secara simultan, kedua variabel memberikan kontribusi sebesar 22,8% terhadap variasi literasi siswa. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penyediaan fasilitas belajar yang memadai serta perlunya strategi peningkatan minat belajar untuk mendukung pengembangan literasi secara optimal.
