Kesantunan Berbahasa dalam Interaksi Sosial di Pondok Pesantren Darul Husna Karawang: Perspektif Pragmatik
Abstract
Kesantunan berbahasa merupakan aspek fundamental dalam interaksi sosial, terutama di lingkungan pesantren yang menekankan nilai-nilai keislaman dan pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik kesantunan berbahasa dalam interaksi sosial di Pondok Pesantren Darul Husna Karawang serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dalam mempertahankannya di era digital. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesantunan berbahasa diterapkan melalui penggunaan bahasa hormat, sapaan formal, strategi mitigasi dalam komunikasi, serta penggunaan bahasa yang sopan dalam situasi formal. Kesantunan ini tidak hanya mencerminkan tata krama, tetapi juga memperkuat hubungan sosial di pesantren. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan beberapa tantangan dalam mempertahankan kesantunan berbahasa, terutama akibat pengaruh media digital. Ketidakseimbangan kekuasaan antara santri dan pengasuh, perbedaan norma komunikasi di pesantren dan di media sosial, serta pengaruh bahasa gaul menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi praktik kesantunan. Selain itu, kurangnya pengawasan dalam komunikasi digital memungkinkan santri lebih bebas dalam memilih gaya bahasa yang mungkin kurang sesuai dengan norma pesantren. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi adaptif untuk menjaga kesantunan berbahasa santri, termasuk bimbingan intensif, penguatan nilai-nilai kesopanan dalam kurikulum, serta edukasi literasi digital. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memberikan wawasan bagi pesantren lain dalam menghadapi tantangan komunikasi di era modern tanpa mengabaikan nilai-nilai kesantunan berbahasa.
