Analisis Variasi Pemerolehan Bahasa Anak Usia di Bawah 4 Tahun Berdasarkan Kajian Mean Length of Utterance (MLU)
Abstract
Manusia memperoleh bahasa merupakan satu masalah yang unik dan perlu dibuktikan. Berbagai teori dari disiplin ilmu telah dikemukakan oleh para peneliti untuk menerangkan bagaimana proses pemerolehan bahasa di kalangan anak-anak. Salah satu perkembangan bahasa yang unik dialami anak adalah perkembangan sintaksis. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dengan mengamati subjek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek Dhafi memperoleh MLU 2,77 yang tidak sesuai dengan ketetapan Brown, Safa memperoleh MLU 3,02 yang sesuai dengan ketetapan Brown, dan Tifen memperoleh MLU 2,26 yang tidak sesuai dengan ketetapan Brown. Variasi perkembangan ini disebabkan oleh perbedaan individual, di mana setiap anak memiliki karakteristik unik dalam berkomunikasi. Perbedaan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan bahasa anak merupakan proses kompleks yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor biologis, inteligensi, motivasi, dan lingkungan.
