Konteks Budaya Perkawinan Masyarakat Bugis Luwu (Kajian Antropolinguistik)
Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsiskan prosesi pernikahan, fungsi dan tujuan dalam prosesi pernikahan masyarakat Luwu. . Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dan data terdiri dari wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif. Pada prosesi pernikahan adat bugis dan mayarakat luwu, ada beberapa hal yang harus dilengkapi atau dipersiapkan sebelum acara mata gau (acara inti). Hal yang seperti ini jika salah satu dari bagian perlengkapan tidak ada maka nilai kesakralan prosesi pernikahan masyarakat luwu tidak sempurna, karena berdasarkan penelitian ini semua yang terkait dalam prosesi pernikahan masyarakat luwu itu memiliki makna tersendiri beserta memiliki fungsinya masing-masing.
