Budaya Mappacci dan Rangkaian Pelaksanaan Perkawinan Orang Bugis
Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai apa sajakah yang terkandung dalam budaya mappacci pada rangkaian pelaksanaan perkawinan orang bugis di Desa Biru Kecamatan poleang Kabupaten Bombana. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah diharapkan menambah pengetahuan tentang nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam budaya Mappacci pada rangkaian pelaksanaan perkawinan orang bugis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dan data terdiri dari wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : nilainilai yang terkandung dalam budaya mappacci pada rangkaian pelaksanaan perkawinan orang bugis dapat dilihat dari beberapa tahapan diantaranya: (a) mappasau botting terdapat nilai kebersihan raga dan kesucian jiwa yang ada ketika calon mempelai sedang melakukan perawatan di ruangan khusus. (b) cemme passili terdapat nilai religius, nilai kebersihan raga dan kesucian jiwa, serta nilai penghargaan terhadap perempuan. (C) mappanre temme terdapat nilai kebersihan dan kesucian jiwa, serta nilai religius yang sangat kental. Hal ini dapat dilihat saat acara khatam Al-Quran dan pembacaan barazanji. (d) tudang penni terdapat nilai kebersihan dan kesucian jiwa, nilai sosial dan nilai religius. Hal ini dapat terlihat ketika para ibu-ibu dan kerabat saling bekerja sama melayani tamu dan menghidangkan makanan dan kue mueh serta secara bergantian meletakkan daun paccing ke tangan calon mempelai dan memberi doa restu. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam budaya mappacci diantaranya : (a) mappasau botting terdapat nilai terdapat nilai kebersihan raga dan kesucian jiwa (b) cemme passili terdapat nilai religius dan nilai kebersihan raga dan kesucian jiwa serta nilai penghargaan terhadap kaum perempuan (c) mappanre temme terdapat adanya nilai kebersihan raga dan kesucian jiwa serta nilai religius saat pembacaan ayat suci Al-Quran dan barazanji (d) tudang penni terdapat nilai keberihan raga dan kesucian jiwa, nilai religius dan nilai sosial
