Analisis Praktik Penerapan Kurikulum 2013 pada Kelas IX: Studi Kasus di UPT SMP Negeri 35 Medan
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami penerapan Kurikulum 2013 di UPT SMP Negeri 35 Medan, termasuk tantangan dan relevansinya bagi siswa kelas IX. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara langsung dengan guru Bahasa Indonesia, Bapak Muhammad Doli Armin Lubis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SMP Negeri 35 Medan masih menggunakan Kurikulum 2013 untuk kelas IX, yang dianggap relevan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif siswa. Kurikulum 2013 menekankan pendekatan saintifik yang mendorong siswa aktif dan inovatif. Tantangan utama terletak pada implementasi pembelajaran yang efektif dengan metode dan media yang tepat, serta kemampuan guru menyesuaikan diri dengan kebutuhan siswa. Sekolah sedang berproses untuk beradaptasi dengan Kurikulum Merdeka yang akan diterapkan pada kelas IX tahun ajaran baru.
