Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membedah konstruksi pemberitaan dan kecenderungan posisi media online Tempo.co dalam memberitakan program makan bergizi gratis melalui pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah berita program makan bergizi gratis yang diunggah pada media online Tempo.co edisi bulan Januari 2025. Berita dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada objek berupa pembingkaian berita dan kecenderungan media menggunakan teori analisis framing model Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki yang terdiri atas empat struktur yaitu sintaksis, skrip, tematik, dan retoris. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan metode dokumentasi ke dalam instrumen berupa tabel data yang dianalisis melalui tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan hasil sebagai berikut. (1) Tempo.co secara efektif menggunakan hampir seluruh elemen framing model Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki. (2) Tempo.co memiliki kecenderungan yang positif terhadap pemerintah dan program makan bergizi gratis yang teridentifikasi berdasarkan pola framing yang konsisten pada tiap berita
