Perubahan Kosakata Gen-Z dalam Konten Tiktok sebagai Bentuk Kreativitas Berbahasa di Era Digital
Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas fenomena perubahan kosakata yang digunakan oleh Generasi Z dalam konten TikTok sebagai wujud kreativitas berbahasa di era digital. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis bentuk perubahan kosakata serta memahami fungsi sosial dan konteks penggunaannya dalam interaksi digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan data primer berupa kosakata dari video, caption, dan komentar TikTok, serta data sekunder dari literatur berbagai literatur yang mendukung analisis penelitian, seperti jurnal ilmiah, buku, artikel, dan penelitian terdahulu yang membahas perubahan bahasa dan kreativitas berbahasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gen Z menciptakan dan memodifikasi kosakata melalui proses pemendekan, akronim, penyerapan bahasa asing, serta plesetan, seperti stecu, yapping, asbun, clingy, kalcer, cringe, flexing, dan fomo, yang berfungsi sebagai alat komunikasi sekaligus sarana ekspresi identitas, humor, kritik sosial, dan pembentukan kedekatan kelompok. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kreativitas berbahasa Gen Z merupakan respons terhadap kebutuhan komunikasi cepat, dinamis, dan kontekstual di era digital, serta mencerminkan keterkaitan erat antara bahasa, budaya populer, dan teknologi.
