Analisis Semiotik Ritual Mappenre Bunga pada Makam Raja Bone ke XVI di Desa Nagauleng Kecamatan Cenrana Kabupaten Bone
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna semiotik dalam ritual Mappenre Bunga yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat di Desa Nagauleng di makam Raja Bone ke XVI, dengan menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Ritual ini merupakan warisan budaya masyarakat yang sarat akan nilai spiritual, sosial dan simbolik. Penelitian ini akan menggali makna mendalam yang terkandung dalam ritual Mappenre Bunga melalui kategori tanda: ikon, indeks dan simbol. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa ritual Mappenre Bunga merupakan media komunikasi antara manusia dan leluhur, serta perwujudan dari identitas budaya masyarakat. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya wawasan studi semiotika serta meningkatkan kesadaran alan pentingnya nilai-nilai budaya lokal.
