Warna Lokal Peralatan Hidup dan Teknologi dalam Novel Laskar Pelangi karya Andrea Hirata
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan dan mendeskripsikan warna lokal peralatan hidup dan teknologi masyarakat Melayu Belitong dalam novel Laskar Pelangi karya Andrea Hirata. Dengan pendekatan antropologi sastra, penelitian ini menggunakan teori Koentjaraningrat. Menurut Koentjaraningrat (2005:23) teknologi adalah cara manusia membuat, memakai, dan memelihara seluruh peralatannya, dan bahkan bertindak selama hidupnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif, yaitu dengan menguaraikan, mendeskripsikan, dan menganalisis peralatan hidup dan teknologi yang terdapat dalam novel Laskar Pelangi karya Andrea Hirata. Adapun teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga langkah, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, analisis data, dan penyajian data dalam bentuk narasi. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa warna lokal peralatan hidup dan teknologi masyarakat Melayu Belitong dalam novel Laskar Pelangi diperinci ke dalam 7 jenis, yaitu alat produksi, wadah, senjata, makanan, pakaian, tempat berlindung/perumahan, dan alat-alat transportasi.
