Nilai-Nilai Moral dalam Novel Debu Dalam Angin karya Pratiwi Juliani: Kajian Sosiologi Sastra
Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji nilai-nilai moral yang terdapat dalam novel Debu dalam Angin karya Pratiwi Juliani dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik studi pustaka. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis model interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori nilai moral menurut Nurgiyantoro, yang membagi nilai moral ke dalam tiga kategori, yaitu: hubungan manusia dengan dirinya sendiri, hubungan manusia dengan sesama, dan hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya tiga nilai moral dalam novel, yaitu (1) nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan dirinya sendiri terdiri atas kemandirian, kerja keras, tidak mudah putus asa, optimis, dan tanggung jawab tokoh utama yaitu Salvador; (2) nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan sesama terdiri atas sikap peduli sesama, nasihat orang tua kepada anak, persahabatan, kesetiaan, hubungan keluarga, dan cinta kasih orang tua terhadap anak antara Salvador, Peter, John, Tobi, dan tokoh lain; dan (3) nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan yang terdiri atas: berdoa kepada Tuhan, berserah diri, bersyukur, keikhlasan menerima takdir, dan beriman antara tokoh Salvador, Tirbiani dan Peter.
