Analisis Wacana pada Talkshow Festival LIKE 2 dengan Tema “10 Tahun untuk Sustainabilitas”: Kajian Ekolinguistik Kritis
Abstract
Wacana lingkungan memiliki strategi komunikasi tertentu, salah satunya melalui penggunaan bahasa yang dihaluskan (eufemisme) guna menyamarkan atau menghindari makna yang lebih kasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji struktur wacana, identifikasi bentuk dan motif penggunaan eufemisme dalam Talkshow Festival LIKE 2. Jenis penelitian ini kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada elemen teks, struktur makro (judul wacana yang menggambarkan isi talkshow wacana ), superstruktur (kerangka wacana tekanan suatu masalah, lalu menyampaikan informasi penting tentang upaya penyelesaiannya), pada struktur mikro (menggunakan istilah teknis, kalimat aktif, kata ganti yang membangun kesan kebersamaan, dan gaya pengungkapan menggunakan gambar). Berdasarkan klasifikasi Allan dan Burridge, bentuk eufemisme dalam Talkshow Konversi Motor Listrik terdiri atas pernyataan yang meremehkan (45%), pergantian pemain satu-untuk-satu (33%), pembicaraan yang berbelit-belit (11%), dan kesembronoan (11%). Sedangkan dalam Talkshow Minim Sampah ditemukan one-for-one substitutions (57%), understatement (15%), akronim (14%), dan sirkumlocutions (14%). Motif penggunaan eufemisme pada talkshow konversi motor listrik terdiri dari dua motif, yatitu penyembunyian fakta (2 data) dan reifikasi (1 data). Sedangkan pada talkshow minim sampah, motif yang muncul hanya berupa penyembunyian fakta (2 data).
