Kontruksi Unsur Intrinsik dalam Cerpen Kampung Matahari Karya Dominoko Ariyanto Djaga: Sebuah Kajian Strukturalisme
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai moral dan tema yang terdapat dalam cerpen Kampung Matahari yang ditulis oleh Dominiko Ariyanto Djaga dengan menggunakan pendekatan strukturalisme. Cerpen ini mencerminkan kehidupan masyarakat pesisir dengan segala tantangan, tanggung jawab, dan keikhlasan, yang terlihat melalui karakter-karakter, konflik yang terjadi, serta suasana kampung yang penuh kesulitan. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai moral seperti tanggung jawab terhadap keluarga, cinta, kesederhanaan, cinta yang tulus, dan ketahanan, serta mengkaji tema utama yang mengikat seluruh jalan cerita. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif-kualitatif dengan analisis pada elemen-elemen intrinsik seperti karakter, alur cerita, latar belakang, dan dialog sebagai alat struktural untuk menyampaikan pesan moral dan tema. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai moral dalam cerpen ini tidak hanya tersaji secara langsung dalam perilaku karakter, tetapi juga sangat terkait dengan struktur keseluruhan cerita. Tema pokok yang diangkat adalah perjuangan di tengah keterbatasan yang didukung oleh semangat kebersamaan dan keikhlasan. Melalui pendekatan strukturalisme, penelitian ini menggarisbawahi bahwa cerpen Kampung Matahari merupakan sebuah karya sastra yang tidak hanya menawarkan keindahan naratif, tetapi juga mengandung pesan moral dan tema yang relevan dengan kehidupan masyarakat.
