Analisis Wacana Ekolinguistik terhadap Representasi Frasa Pro-Lingkungan dan Eksploitatif dalam Berita “Ledakan Ikan Sapu-Sapu, Alarm Ekologi Kerusakan Lingkungan”
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji representasi frasa yang bernuansa pro-lingkungan dan eksploitatif dalam berita berjudul “Ledakan Ikan Sapu-Sapu, Alarm Ekologi Kerusakan Lingkungan” dengan menggunakan perspektif ekolinguistik. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui analisis wacana ekolinguistik. Data penelitian berasal dari teks berita daring yang membahas fenomena meningkatnya populasi ikan sapu-sapu sebagai spesies invasif di perairan Indonesia. Data yang dianalisis mencakup kata, frasa, klausa, dan kalimat yang merepresentasikan wacana pro-lingkungan maupun eksploitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik simak-catat, sedangkan analisisnya mencakup proses identifikasi, pengelompokan, dan penafsiran bentuk-bentuk wacana berdasarkan pendekatan ekolinguistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua kecenderungan wacana dalam teks berita tersebut, yaitu wacana pro-lingkungan (ekosentris) dan wacana eksploitatif (antroposentris). Wacana ekosentris tampak melalui penggunaan frasa seperti “alarm ekologi”, “pelestarian keanekaragaman hayati”, dan “merehabilitasi perairan sungai” yang menegaskan pentingnya kesadaran serta upaya pelestarian lingkungan. Sebaliknya, wacana eksploitatif terlihat pada frasa seperti “menguasai ruang dan makanan”, “memiliki nilai ekonomi”, serta “pengolahan menjadi pupuk dan pakan ternak” yang memperlihatkan pandangan manusia terhadap alam sebagai objek yang dapat dikendalikan dan dimanfaatkan secara ekonomi. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa bahasa dalam media massa memiliki peranan penting dalam membentuk perspektif masyarakat terhadap lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan penggunaan bahasa yang lebih ekologis dan berorientasi pada keberlanjutan lingkungan perlu terus dilakukan dalam pemberitaan media.
