Semiotika dalam Novel Ikhlas Penuh Luka karya Boy Chandra
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, menjelaskan, dan menginterpretasikan bentuk serta makna tanda (ikon, indeks, dan simbol) dalam novel Ikhlas Penuh Luka karya Boy Candra melalui pendekatan semiotika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain analisis isi. Sumber data utama adalah novel Ikhlas Penuh Luka, dengan wujud data berupa kata, frasa, kalimat, maupun paragraf yang merepresentasikan konsep luka dan keikhlasan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode simak dan catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Tanda ikon berfungsi sebagai representasi konkret yang membantu visualisasi cerita (seperti hujan, air mata, dan langit malam); (2) Tanda indeks berperan utama dalam menggambarkan dinamika psikologis tokoh melalui hubungan sebab-akibat (seperti menangis sebagai akibat kesedihan, dan diam sebagai tanda kekecewaan); serta (3) Tanda simbol menjadi pusat filosofis yang memberikan lapisan makna mendalam terhadap pengalaman universal manusia tentang cinta, kehilangan, dan proses merelakan (seperti menutup buku lama dan langit senja). Melalui dialektika penanda dan petanda Saussure, konsep "luka" dan "ikhlas" dikonstruksi bukan sebagai objek statis, melainkan sebagai proses transisi emosional yang dinamis menuju pendewasaan diri.
