Pengunaan Quizizz sebagai Alat Penilaian Formatif dalam Teks Berita Siswa Kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Melaya
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kepraktisan, keefektifan, serta respons guru dan siswa terhadap penggunaan Quizizz sebagai alat penilaian formatif dalam pembelajaran teks berita siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Melaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru dan 30 siswa kelas VII, dengan 10 siswa sebagai sampel mendalam. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar wawancara serta kuesioner kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menilai penggunaan Quizizz memiliki tingkat kepraktisan sebesar 88% dalam pembuatan dan penyebaran kuis, koreksi otomatis, serta pengolahan nilai. Sementara itu, siswa memberikan skor rata-rata kepraktisan sebesar 87,7% dan keefektifan sebesar 90,1%, yang menunjukkan peningkatan keterlibatan, motivasi, dan pemahaman materi teks berita melalui umpan balik instan dan elemen gamifikasi. Meskipun demikian, penggunaan Quizizz masih menghadapi kendala teknis berupa koneksi internet dan keterbatasan perangkat pada sebagian siswa. Dengan demikian, Quizizz dapat digunakan sebagai alat penilaian formatif yang praktis dan efektif dalam pembelajaran teks berita.
