Dibalik Arus Pikiran: Menelisik Kecemasan Neorotik pada Tokoh Anna dalam Novel The Brain Charger Karya M. Prizaro Novelan Tauhidi
Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas kecemasan neurotik pada tokoh Anna dalam novel The Brain Charger karya M. Prizaro Novelan Tauhidi melalui pendekatan psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud. Bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab, dampak, serta bentuk penyelesaian kecemasan neurotik yang dialami tokoh Anna sehingga digunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan model analisis deskriptif naratif. Analisis data berfokus pada struktur kepribadian tokoh Anna (id, ego, dan supergo) yang memanfaatkan teori struktur kepribadian Sigmund Freud sebagai pisau analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecemasan neurotik Anna disebabkan oleh trauma masa kecil, adanya ketidakutuhan relasi afektif dalam keluarga, serta lingkungan tumbuh yang tidak stabil. Kondisi tersebut memicu berbagai dampak seperti kecemasan kronis yang mengarah pada perilaku self-harm, kepribadian defensif, halusinasi, hingga gangguan psikologis yang lebih serius lainnya. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa penyelesaian kecemasan neurotik dalam novel bertolak belakang dengan model konsep terapi yang ditawarkan Freud. Pengarang melalui pendekatan spiritual dengan pengembalian keyakinan tokoh terhadap keberadaan Tuhan menunjukkan pemamfaatan sistem kepercayaan sebagai metode terapi dalam bentuk metode spiritual. Novel The Brain Charger menunjukkan bahwa spiritualisme dapat menjadi media penyembuhan psikologis dan sarana membangun kembali kestabilan emosional.
