Kesantunan Berbahasa dalam Dialog Debat Berjudul “Main Monopolitik Sambil Ngobrolin Jokowi, Jatah Menteri, dan Money Politik” pada Channel Youtube Najwa Shihab
Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai prinsip kesantunan berbahasa pada dialog dalam debat politik yang terdapat pada channel youtube. Pematuhan dan pelanggaran kesantunan berbahasa yang akan menjadi pokok pembahasan dalam penelitian ini. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptip kualitatif, data dan sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa tuturan lisan yang diucapkan pada dialog debat berjudul “main monopolitik sambil ngobrolin Jokowi, jatah menteri, dan money politik” pada channel youtube Najwa Shihab. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik Simak dan Teknik catat. Hasil penelitian mengemukakan bahwa terdapat 28 bentuk pematuhan prinsip kesantunan berbahasa dengan berbagai macam bentuk maksim dan terdapat 22 bentuk pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa dengan berbagai maksim pula. Pematuhan kesantunan berbahasa umumnya terjadi karena beberapa faktor yakni (1) peserta debat diyakini memahami norma kesopanan dan etika berkomunikasi sehingga lebih menjaga tutur katanya, (2) peserta debat politik memahami topik yang dibicarakan sehingga peserta menyampaiikan argumennya secara logis dan tidak meledak-ledak, (3) peserta debat mampu berkomunikasi secara efektif, serta (4) kehadiran moderator yang tegas dapat mengendalikan acara debat sehingga lebih terarah. Pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan pada acara debat politik kali ini dikarenakan beberapa faktor yakni (1) peserta debat yang merasa terpojokkan atau merasa diserang akan kehilangan kendali pada kestabilan emosinya. (2) peserta debat dengan sengaja melanggar kesantunan demi menarik perhatian lawan bicara, (3) perbedaan latar belakang dari narasumber akan mengubah pandangan masing-masing terhadap suatu objek, serta (4) kepentingan politik yang kuat dapat membuat ambisi politik atau keinginan untuk memenangkan debat secara mutlak.
