Analisis Studi Strukturalisme: Genetik dalam Novel Namaku Alam karya Leila S. Chudori: Kajian Sosiologi Sastra
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strukturalisme genetik dalam novel Namaku Alam karya Leila S. Chudori. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian sosiologi sastra yang menggunakan teori Strukturalisme Genetik Lucien Goldmann. Pemilihan teori ini didasarkan pada pemahaman bahwa karya sastra tidak dapat dipisahkan dari latar belakang sosial masyarakat tempat pengarangnya berasal dan berkembang sebagai pencipta karya tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang dilakukan pada data terurai dalam bentuk kata-kata, bukan dalam bentuk angka. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah strukturalisme genetik dalam novel Namaku Alam karya Leila S. Chudori yang terdiri atas lima komponen, yaitu fakta kemanusiaan, subjek kolektif, pandangan dunia pengarang, struktur karya sastra, dan dialektika pemahaman-penjelasan. Maka, berdasarkan uraian hasil penelitian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa komponen fakta kemanusiaan yang paling menonjol di antara kelima komponen strukturalisme genetik Lucien Goldmann. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa novel Namaku Alam menggambarkan tentang trauma sejarah akibat tragedi politik yang tidak hanya dialami oleh generasi yang secara langsung menjadi korban, namun juga dialami oleh generasi berikutnya dan penganiayaan politik terhadap keluarga tahanan politik. Maka, novel ini merupakan representasi dari kesadaran pengarang yang memperjuangkan keadilan dan rekonsiliasi sejarah selain dari merefleksikan realitas sosial yang tergambar di dalam novel.
