Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Aplikasi Tiktok Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Teks Prosedur Siswa Kelas XI SMAN 18 Bone
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media aplikasi TikTok terhadap kemampuan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas XI di SMAN 18 Bone. Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah munculnya kebutuhan akan inovasi media pembelajaran yang mampu menarik minat dan meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam belajar, terutama dalam keterampilan menulis yang selama ini dianggap sebagai aktivitas yang membosankan dan sulit. TikTok sebagai salah satu platform media sosial populer berbasis video pendek dinilai memiliki potensi sebagai sarana edukatif yang efektif, karena mampu menyajikan informasi secara visual, kreatif, dan interaktif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen posttest-only control group, yang melibatkan dua kelas sebagai sampel: satu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan TikTok sebagai media pembelajaran, dan satu kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes menulis teks prosedur untuk mengukur kemampuan siswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan, serta lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara untuk mendukung data kualitatif. Penilaian difokuskan pada aspek struktur teks, kaidah kebahasaan, kejelasan langkah, dan kreativitas. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan TikTok sebagai media pembelajaran mampu meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks prosedur secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran tradisional. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan aplikasi TikTok dalam proses pembelajaran. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan strategi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang lebih menarik, relevan, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik generasi digital saat ini, serta menjadi referensi bagi pendidik dan peneliti lain dalam pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai sarana pendidikan yang efektif.
