Peningkatan Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) melalui Media Pembelajaran Video pada Pembelajaran Menulis Hikayat
Abstract
Media pembelajaran video merupakan media pembelajaran yang sangat diminati oleh siswa akhir-akhir ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran menulis hikayat melalui media video dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning (PBL). Metode yang digunakan dalam dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif sedangkan Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu mengumpulkan hasil keterampilan menulis hikayat siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: Dari hasil akhir proses pembelajaran ada peningkatan hasil pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesian dari siklus I 71,6% menjadi 82,2 % dan dapat diterapkan pada mata pelajaran yang lainnya terutama pada keterampilan menulis. Peserta didik mampu mengembangkan isi pokok hikayat dan memaknai berbagai informasi baik lisan maupun tulisan. Melatih untuk berpikir kritis dan kreatif dalam mengkritik atau memberikan solusi ide suatu permasalahan dalam kehidupan. Selain itu, dapat melestarikan budaya luhur rakyat Indonesia karena hikayat adalah bentuk prosa lama yang diwariskan melalui lisan secara turun temurun yang mengandung nilai-nilai teladan bagi kehidupan
