Implementasi Pendekatan Deep Learning dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Puisi: Upaya Menumbuhkan Growth Mindset Siswa Kelas X SMAN 4 Malang
Abstract
Pembelajaran menulis puisi di jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, salah satunya rendahnya kepercayaan diri siswa yang dipengaruhi oleh fixed mindset, yaitu keyakinan bahwa kreativitas sastra merupakan bakat bawaan dan bukan keterampilan yang dapat dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendekatan Deep Learning dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi serta menganalisis kontribusinya terhadap pengembangan growth mindset siswa kelas X. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart dan dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 36 siswa kelas X SMAN 4 Malang yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, angket growth mindset yang terdiri atas sepuluh butir pernyataan, rubrik penilaian menulis puisi, dan jurnal refleksi siswa. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis dengan model analisis interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang konsisten pada setiap siklus. Rata-rata skor growth mindset meningkat dari 1,98 pada tahap prasiklus menjadi 2,41 pada Siklus I, 2,88 pada Siklus II, dan 3,27 pada Siklus III. Persentase siswa yang bersedia menulis puisi meningkat dari 25,0% pada tahap prasiklus menjadi 47,2%, 69,4%, dan 88,9% pada Siklus I, II, dan III. Selain itu, persentase siswa yang berhasil menyelesaikan puisi juga mengalami peningkatan dari 38,9% menjadi 58,3%, 77,8%, dan 94,4%. Temuan kualitatif menunjukkan adanya perubahan positif pada aspek ketekunan, kepercayaan diri, kemauan merevisi karya, serta keterbukaan siswa terhadap umpan balik selama proses pembelajaran. Temuan tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa pendekatan Deep Learning efektif dalam mengembangkan growth mindset sekaligus meningkatkan keterlibatan dan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi melalui pengalaman belajar yang bermakna, reflektif, dan berpusat pada siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan pembelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia dengan menawarkan alternatif model pedagogis yang mendukung pengembangan kreativitas, kepercayaan diri, dan disposisi belajar positif siswa.
