Analisis Nilai Pendidikan Karakter dalam Karya Murti Buananta: Kajian Sastra Anak
Abstract
Sastra anak memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung pendidikan karakter melalui penyajian nilai-nilai moral dalam cerita yang sesuai dengan perkembangan kognitif, bahasa, serta sosial-emosional anak. Di antara para penulis sastra anak Indonesia, Murti Bunanta memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan melalui karya-karya sastra yang memadukan nilai-nilai pendidikan dan budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam karya-karya sastra anak pilihan Murti Bunanta serta mengkaji relevansinya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa, sastra, dan literasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka (library research) dan analisis isi (content analysis). Data primer berupa empat karya Murti Bunanta, yaitu Si Kecil, Masarasenani dan Matahari, Si Bungsu Katak, dan Si Molek, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari berbagai buku dan publikasi ilmiah terkini yang membahas sastra anak, literasi, dan pendidikan karakter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karya-karya Murti Bunanta secara konsisten merepresentasikan enam nilai pendidikan karakter yang dominan, yaitu religius, kerja keras, rasa ingin tahu, komunikatif, cinta damai, dan peduli sosial. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada analisis yang komprehensif terhadap nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dengan mengintegrasikan perspektif mutakhir mengenai sastra anak, literasi, dan pendidikan karakter dalam konteks karya-karya Murti Bunanta. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karya-karya tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan secara efektif sebagai sumber pembelajaran untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter dan literasi di lingkungan sekolah maupun keluarga. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan pembelajaran bahasa, sastra, dan literasi dengan menegaskan fungsi pedagogis sastra anak sebagai media yang efektif dalam pembentukan karakter dan pengembangan literasi yang bermakna.
