Problematika Rendahnya Literasi Siswa Akibat Distraksi Gawai yang Tidak Terkontrol dan Belum Optimalnya Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran pada Siswa SMA Hang Tuah Makassar
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji problematika rendahnya literasi siswa yang dipengaruhi oleh distraksi gawai yang tidak terkontrol serta belum optimalnya penggunaan media pembelajaran pada siswa SMA Hang Tuah Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam dengan guru Bahasa Indonesia, serta didukung oleh studi literatur yang relevan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber untuk menjaga keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan gawai selama proses pembelajaran sering menimbulkan distraksi, seperti akses media sosial dan permainan digital, yang berdampak pada menurunnya konsentrasi dan keterlibatan siswa. Selain itu, kurang variatifnya penggunaan media pembelajaran menyebabkan munculnya kejenuhan yang mendorong siswa beralih pada aktivitas nonakademik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan inovasi dalam pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis digital yang interaktif, seperti Wordwall, untuk mengarahkan penggunaan gawai menjadi lebih produktif serta meningkatkan keterlibatan dan literasi siswa.
