Revitalisasi Nilai Kepemimpinan dalam Mitos Ballak Tujua Masyarakat Onto Bantaeng sebagai Bahan Literasi Karakter Anak
Abstract
Penelitian ini diarahkan untuk mendeskripsikan sekaligus menafsirkan nilai-nilai kepemimpinan yang terkandung dalam mitos Ballak Tujua pada masyarakat Onto Bantaeng, serta menghidupkannya kembali sebagai materi literasi karakter bagi anak. Permasalahan yang dibahas bertolak dari urgensi pemanfaatan sastra lisan daerah sebagai sumber pendidikan karakter yang kontekstual, terutama di tengah masih terbatasnya bahan literasi yang berlandaskan budaya lokal. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode analisis isi kualitatif yang didukung oleh studi pustaka. Sumber data utama berupa teks mitos Ballak Tujua, sedangkan data pelengkap diperoleh dari artikel ilmiah, buku, dan dokumen akademik yang relevan dengan sastra lisan, kepemimpinan, pendidikan karakter, dan literasi anak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi, penelusuran pustaka, pembacaan secara intensif, pencatatan unit-unit makna, serta pengodean tematik. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa mitos Ballak Tujua mengandung nilai-nilai kepemimpinan pokok, yakni tanggung jawab, keteladanan, keberanian moral, perlindungan sosial, kebijaksanaan, dan keadilan. Nilai-nilai tersebut menegaskan bahwa kepemimpinan dalam mitos lokal berlandaskan orientasi etis dan komunal, bukan semata-mata bertumpu pada kekuasaan individual. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap penguatan kajian sastra lisan sebagai sumber pendidikan karakter dan literasi yang berbasis kearifan lokal. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan landasan bagi pengembangan bahan ajar bahasa dan sastra Indonesia yang berorientasi pada budaya daerah. Penelitian berikutnya disarankan untuk menguji penerapan bahan literasi yang berbasis pada mitos Ballak Tujua dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.
