Kekerasan Verbal Terhadap Tokoh Perempuan Dalam Novel Mantra Lilith Karya Hendri Yulius (Kajian Feminisme)
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bentuk kekerasan verbal yang dialami oleh tokoh perempuan dalam novel Mantra Lilith karya Hendri Yulius serta bentuk-bentuk perlawanan yang dilakukan oleh tokoh tersebut melalui perspektif feminisme. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian adalah novel Mantra Lilith karya Hendri Yulius yang diterbitkan Elex Media Komputindo pada tahun 2017 dengan tebal 260 halaman. Data penelitian ini berupa kata, frasa, kalimat, dan paragraf yang menunjukkan kekerasan verbal serta perlawanan tokoh perempuan dalam novel Mantra Lilith karya Hendri Yulius. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah teori feminisme. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kekerasan verbal yang diterima tokoh perempuan dalam novel Mantra Lilith meliputi ancaman, merendahkan, dan bentakan. Bentuk kekerasan verbal ini berfungsi untuk mengontrol dan mengekang tokoh perempuan, serta memperkuat struktur patriarkal yang menempatkan perempuan pada posisi subordinat. Dari perspektif feminisme, kekerasan verbal dilihat sebagai alat mempertahankan dominasi dan membatasi kebebasan serta hak-hak perempuan. Kedua, perlawanan tokoh perempuan untuk menentang kekerasan verbal dalam novel Mantra Lilith tercermin dalam sikap kritis, penolakan terhadap norma-norma patriarkal, serta upaya untuk mengklaim kembali identitas dan hak-hak mereka. Tokoh perempuan dalam novel ini menolak untuk dijadikan sekadar pemuas dan pelayan, dan secara aktif berusaha melawan kekerasan verbal yang mereka hadapi. Bentuk-bentuk perlawanan ini memperlihatkan keberanian dan keteguhan tokoh perempuan dalam menghadapi penindasan dan kekerasan verbal. Penelitian ini berkontribusi memberikan pemahaman kritis dampak kekerasan verbal terhadap perempuan dalam karya sastra, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar untuk meningkatkan kesadaran gender dan mendukung pendidikan karakter berbasis kesetaraan.
