Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning Berbantuan Media YouTube terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Teks Prosedur Siswa Kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media YouTube terhadap kemampuan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 27 siswa kelas XI-1 IPA. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes esai menulis teks prosedur yang dinilai berdasarkan struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis siswa sebelum diberi perlakuan berada pada kategori rendah, dengan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 57,89. Setelah penerapan model pembelajaran PjBL berbantuan media YouTube, kemampuan menulis siswa mengalami peningkatan signifikan dengan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 80,26. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t berpasangan memperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 11,30 lebih besar dari ttabel 2,056 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05, sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbantuan media YouTube berpengaruh secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan. Model pembelajaran ini efektif dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih aktif, kontekstual, dan memudahkan siswa memahami materi melalui visualisasi video.
