Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning Berbantuan Media YouTube Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Siswa kelas XI SMA Islam Al Ulum Terpadu Medan
Abstract
Riset ini dilaksanakan untuk mengkaji dampak implementasi model pembelajaran project based learning yang didukung oleh platform YouTube terhadap kapabilitas penulisan cerpen siswa kelas XI SMA Islam Al-Ulum Terpadu Medan pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Pendekatan yang diadopsi adalah kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan model eksperimen yang menerapkan desain Posstest Only Control Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas XI-1, yang mencakup 32 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol, dan kelas XI-3 lainnya, yang terdiri dari 36 siswa, sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes esai, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data yang mencakup standar deviasi, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, serta uji hipotesis. Ini mengungkapkan bahwa dua variabel memenuhi kriteria normalitas yang baik, dengan nilai di atas standar 0,05. Uji homogenitas juga menunjukkan hasil yang memuaskan, melampaui standar 0,05. Selanjutnya, analisis uji hipotesis melalui Independent Samples Test menghasilkan nilai t hitung sebesar 8,02 dengan derajat kebebasan (df) 66. Nilai t tabel yang diperoleh adalah 1,67, yang mengindikasikan bahwa t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel (8,02 > 1,67). Oleh karena itu, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang didukung oleh YouTube terhadap kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelas XI SMA Islam Al Ulum Terpadu Medan pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025.
