Pesan Moral dalam Lirik Lagu Minang “Tungkek Mambaok Rabah” Kajian Semiotika Roland Barthes
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap pesan moral dalam lirik lagu Minangkabau Tungkek Mambaok Rabah dan Tungkek Mambaok Rabah 2 melalui kajian semiotika Roland Barthes, serta menganalisis hubungan pesan moral antara kedua lagu. Lirik lagu dipilih karena selain berfungsi sebagai hiburan, juga sebagai teks budaya yang menyampaikan nilai moral, sosial, dan budaya Minangkabau. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analisis. Data utama berupa teks lirik lagu, sementara data pendukung diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan pencipta lagu, Safri Jaisky, untuk memperoleh konteks kreatif dan makna tersirat. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan tiga tingkatan makna Roland Barthes: denotatif, konotatif, dan mitos, guna menafsirkan pesan moral yang terkandung dalam lirik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesan moral hubungan manusia dengan sesama menjadi yang paling dominan, di mana lagu pertama menekankan solidaritas, empati, dan tanggung jawab dalam hubungan kakak-adik, sedangkan lagu kedua mengkritik kepemimpinan yang tidak bijaksana serta menekankan musyawarah, keadilan, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Wawancara dengan pencipta lagu memperkuat temuan analisis semiotika, menunjukkan bahwa kedua lagu dirancang untuk memberikan teladan moral bagi keluarga dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa lirik lagu Minangkabau tidak hanya memiliki fungsi estetis, tetapi juga sebagai media pendidikan moral dan pewarisan nilai budaya. Keterbatasan penelitian terletak pada fokus hanya dua lagu tertentu, sehingga generalisasi temuan bersifat terbatas pada konteks lagu yang dianalisis. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi kajian interdisipliner terkait musik, budaya, dan pendidikan moral.
