Penumbuhan Karakter Disiplin dan Tanggung Jawab Siswa Melaui Pengelolaan Sarana Pojok Baca
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengelolaan sarana pojok baca dalam menumbuhkan karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab siswa di UPT SD Negeri 011 Rante Pasang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru kelas, serta siswa. Analisis data dilakukan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan sarana pojok baca yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan telah berjalan cukup efektif. Perencanaan dilakukan melalui penataan ruang kelas dan penyediaan bahan bacaan yang sesuai dengan tingkat perkembangan siswa. Pengorganisasian melibatkan guru dan siswa dalam pengelolaan pojok baca. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pojok baca terintegrasi dalam aktivitas pembelajaran dan pembiasaan literasi harian. Pengawasan dilakukan secara berkelanjutan oleh guru melalui aturan penggunaan dan jadwal membaca. Pengelolaan sarana pojok baca tersebut berkontribusi positif dalam menumbuhkan karakter disiplin, seperti ketepatan waktu membaca dan kepatuhan terhadap aturan, serta karakter tanggung jawab, seperti menjaga kebersihan dan kerapian sarana baca.
