Penggunaan Basa Slang dalam Film Pendek Geger Geden Eps133 di Kanal Youtube Woko Chanel
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk dan fungsi penggunaan bahasa slang dalam film pendek Geger Geden episode 133 di kanal YouTube Woko Channel. Kajian ini menggunakan teori slang Allan & Burridge (2006) yang menjelaskan bahwa slang merupakan ragam bahasa nonformal yang bersifat kreatif, ekspresif, serta digunakan untuk membangun solidaritas dan kedekatan sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik simak dan catat melalui pengamatan langsung pada dialog para tokoh dalam film. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk slang yang muncul meliputi kata, ungkapan, serta bahasa khas Jawa yang digunakan secara spontan dan nonformal. Fungsi slang dalam film ini yakni untuk menciptakan keakraban antar tokoh, mengekspresikan emosi seperti heran, kesal, dan humor, serta memperkuat karakter dan suasana komedi yang menjadi ciri khas Woko Channel. Bahasa slang dalam dialog juga menggambarkan identitas budaya masyarakat Jawa yang akrab, santai, dan mengikuti era media digital. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan slang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat komunikasi, tetapi juga menjadi strategi untuk membangun kedekatan sosial dan menyampaikan humor secara efektif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berpartisipasi pada pengembangan studi bahasa gaul dalam media digital dan pemahaman dinamika kebahasaan masyarakat masa kini.
