Kesalahan Berbahasa pada Teks Karangan Siswa SMA-SMK Kota Makassar
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk kesalahan berbahasa pada teks karangan siswa SMA–SMK Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data berupa teks karangan siswa yang dianalisis berdasarkan pedoman umum ejaan bahasa Indonesia dan kaidah tata bahasa baku. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui identifikasi, klasifikasi, dan interpretasi terhadap setiap bentuk kesalahan sesuai kategori yang ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan berbahasa paling banyak ditemukan pada bidang ejaan, meliputi penggunaan huruf kapital yang tidak tepat, penulisan singkatan yang tidak sesuai kaidah, kesalahan kata depan di dan ke, penandaan kata bahasa asing yang tidak digarisbawahi, serta penggunaan tanda baca yang tidak sesuai. Kesalahan berikutnya terlihat pada penggunaan kata tidak baku, seperti aksebilitas, moderen, dan biliard, yang seharusnya ditulis aksesibilitas, modern, dan biliar. Pada bidang morfologi ditemukan beberapa bentuk kesalahan seperti penghilangan prefiks ber-, pe-, per-, sufiks -an, pemendekan prefiks men- menjadi n-, serta penghilangan konjungsi yang menyebabkan ketidaktepatan struktur kalimat. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berbahasa siswa masih perlu ditingkatkan terutama dalam penguasaan ejaan dan pembentukan kata yang sesuai kaidah. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat pemahaman mengenai kesalahan kebahasaan pada level pendidikan menengah serta menjadi dasar perbaikan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di sekolah.
