Deiksis dalam Cerpen “Harum” Karya Raditya Dika: Kajian Pragmatik
Abstract
Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah bagaimana lima kategori deiksis persona, tempat, waktu, wacana, dan sosial dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan plot, memperjelas referensi, serta menciptakan hubungan antar karakter. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan peran dari kelima kategori deiksis tersebut serta menjelaskan kontribusinya terhadap pemahaman pragmatik dalam teks sastra. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik baca dan catat untuk mengumpulkan data yang berupa unsur kebahasaan yang memiliki tanda deiksis. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan identifikasi, reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan sesuai dengan teori deiksis yang dikemukakan oleh Levinson. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa deiksis persona menjadi tipe yang paling menonjol, terutama melalui penggunaan kata aku, kamu, dan dia yang merefleksikan sudut pandang pencerita, kedekatan antar karakter, serta penggambaran tokoh perempuan misterius dalam cerita tersebut. Deiksis tempat digunakan untuk menunjuk lokasi-lokasi signifikan seperti kuburan, perpustakaan, dan berbagai ruang naratif lain yang muncul melalui ingatan karakter. Deiksis waktu berfungsi untuk menjelaskan urutan kejadian dengan menggunakan penanda seperti hari itu, sore itu, dan dua tahun kemudian. Deiksis wacana muncul melalui penggunaan kata ini dan itu yang memperkuat kesinambungan naratif, sedangkan deiksis sosial terlihat dari sapaan seperti Pak, mas-mas, dan anak magang yang mencerminkan struktur sosial dan etika berbahasa. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa deiksis memiliki peranan krusial dalam membentuk konteks, hubungan, serta makna pragmatis dalam cerpen “Harum”, dan memberikan kontribusi untuk kajian pragmatik dalam sastra Indonesia modern.
