Identitas Gastronomi Sastra dalam Tradisi Sadranan di Cepogo: Diversifikasi Olahan Ketan sebagai Simbol Perekat Sosial
Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) diversifikasi olahan berbahan dasar ketan dalam acara Sadranan di kecamatan Cepogo, (2) makna simbolik berbagai macam olahan ketan dalam tradisi Sadranan. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan model interpretatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan wawancara secara langsung. Setelah seluruh data primer dan sekunder terkumpul, lalu dilakukan analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data Semiotika Roland Barthes untuk menjelaskan makna simbolik pada sajian makanan berupa olahan ketan yang digunakan pada tradisi Sadranan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan makna simbolik pada makanan berbahan dasar ketan yang mempunyai sifat pliket atau lekat, melambangkan suatu maksud agar antara roh yang mati dan yang masih hidup selalu menjaga hubungan agar silaturahmi semakin erat. Jenis-jenis makanan hasil dari olahan ketan diantaranya yaitu lemper, lepet, semar mendem, tape ketan, jadah, ketan kelapa parut, wajik, bubur ketan hitam, lupis, getas.
