Perbandingan Puisi “Cintaku Jauh di Pulau” Karya Chairil Anwar dan “Le Pont Mirabeau” Karya Guillaume Apollinaire
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan representasi cinta dalam puisi “Cintaku Jauh di Pulau” karya Chairil Anwar dan “Le Pont Mirabeau” karya Guillaume Apollinaire melalui pendekatan struktural dan intertekstual. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan untuk mengkaji unsur intrinsik puisi, meliputi diksi, citraan, simbol, gaya bahasa, dan suasana, serta untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan makna yang muncul melalui perbandingan kedua teks. Data primer penelitian berupa teks kedua puisi, sementara data sekunder diperoleh dari buku teori sastra dan penelitian terdahulu. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kedua puisi sama-sama mengangkat tema cinta yang terpisah, namun menampilkan sikap emosional yang berbeda. Dalam puisi Chairil Anwar, cinta digambarkan sebagai perjuangan penuh gejolak yang terhenti oleh nasib dan kematian, tercermin melalui simbol laut dan perahu. Sementara itu, Apollinaire menampilkan cinta sebagai sesuatu yang telah berlalu, diterima dengan ketenangan dan refleksi melalui simbol sungai dan jembatan. Perbandingan ini menunjukkan bahwa tema cinta bersifat universal, namun cara pengungkapannya dipengaruhi oleh latar budaya, pengalaman emosional, dan gaya estetik masing-masing penyair. Penelitian ini memperkaya kajian sastra bandingan, khususnya dalam memahami ekspresi cinta dalam puisi lintas budaya.
