Eksplorasi Perbedaan Fonologi Dialek Bahasa Makassar Di Kabupaten Bantaeng
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi perbedaan fonologi dialek Bahasa Makassar di Kabupaten Bantaeng. Bahasa Makassar, sebagai salah satu bahasa daerah di Indonesia, memiliki variasi dialek yang kaya, yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor geografis, sosial, dan budaya. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari penutur asli melalui wawancara dan perekaman percakapan. Analisis fonologi dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan dalam pengucapan, intonasi, dan penggunaan fonem antara dialek yang ada di Bantaeng dan dialek Makassar standar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan yang tidak begitu signifikan dalam beberapa aspek fonologi, termasuk pelafalan konsonan dan vokal, serta penggunaan aksen. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan baru mengenai kekayaan dan kompleksitas bahasa daerah, serta pentingnya pelestarian dialek lokal dalam konteks kebudayaan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi studi linguistik lebih lanjut dan mendorong kesadaran akan pentingnya variabilitas bahasa dalam masyarakat.
