Fenomena Penurunan Bahasa Indonesia Baku di Kalangan Remaja: Faktor Sosial dan Media Sosial
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena penurunan penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia baku di kalangan remaja Indonesia, dengan fokus pada faktor sosial dan pengaruh media sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kajian pustaka dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka komprehensif (literature review) terhadap 50 publikasi ilmiah terkini (2018-2025) meliputi jurnal nasional dan internasional, laporan penelitian, dan publikasi resmi pemerintah terkait penggunaan bahasa pada remaja Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat faktor utama yang memengaruhi penurunan penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia baku, yaitu globalisasi dan dominasi bahasa asing, pengaruh platform media sosial, identitas dan ekspresi diri dalam kelompok sebaya, serta kurangnya pemahaman tentang pentingnya bahasa baku dalam konteks formal. Fenomena code-switching antara Bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa asing, terutama Bahasa Inggris, menjadi tren dominan dengan 78% remaja mengaku sering mencampurkan kedua bahasa dalam percakapan sehari-hari berdasarkan survei dari berbagai literatur. Adaptasi struktur kalimat dan kosakata baru yang tidak sesuai kaidah bahasa baku terjadi secara masif, dengan 85% konten media sosial remaja menggunakan bahasa non-baku. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi pengembangan strategi pendidikan bahasa yang memadukan kreativitas berbahasa dengan pemahaman pentingnya mempertahankan Bahasa Indonesia baku sebagai identitas nasional.
