Analisis Pendidikan Karakter Pada Cerita Rakyat Nene Mallomo
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam cerita rakyat Nene Mallomo, yang merupakan salah satu warisan budaya Bugis-Makassar. Melalui metode deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini menggali berbagai nilai karakter yang termuat dalam cerita tersebut, seperti kejujuran, kerja keras, tanggung jawab, kecerdasan, kepemimpinan bijaksana, gotong royong, dan keadilan tanpa pandang bulu. Data dikumpulkan dari naskah cerita rakyat dan pengamatan tradisi lisan masyarakat setempat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Nene Mallomo bukan hanya sekadar kisah legenda, tetapi juga sarat dengan pesan moral yang relevan untuk diterapkan dalam pendidikan karakter masa kini. Cerita ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam upaya melestarikan budaya sekaligus membangun karakter bangsa yang beretika dan beradab
