Implementasi Pendekatan CRT (Culturally Responsive Teaching) dalam Pembelajaran Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi pada Peserta Didik Kelas X SMKN 8 Semarang
Abstract
Dalam konteks pendidikan, pengintegrasian sebuah budaya di sekolah mempunyai peranan untuk membangun pemahaman, penghormatan terhadap keberagaman, toleransi, serta pembentukan karakter seorang peserta didik. Tanpa diberi pemahaman yang kuat terhadap budaya lokal, peserta didik akan mudah sekali terbawa pengaruh budaya asing dan akan kehilangan identitas budayanya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya untuk mengimplementasikan budaya pada peserta didik, salah satunya dengan menggunakan pendekatan CRT (Culturally Responsive Teaching) dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi pendekatan CRT dalam pembelajaran teks laporan hasil observasi pada peserta didik kelas X SMKN 8 Semarang. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan CRT, Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan strategi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang efektif dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Selain itu, dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar peserta didik mengenai budaya yang belum pernah dilakukan sebelumnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMKN 8 Semarang dengan melibatkan 35 peserta didik. Sumber data pada penelitian ini didokumentasikan dalam bentuk rekaman dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X SMKN 8 Semarang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi dan observasi. Dalam pembelajaran teks laporan hasil Observasi pada peserta didik kelas X SMKN 8 Semarang ditemukan beberapa temuan penting yang berkaitan dengan efektivitas pendekatan CRT yaitu dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi, keterlibatan dalam pembelajaran, dan penghargaan terhadap keragaman budaya. Dengan pendekatan ini, peserta didik tidak hanya belajar untuk menulis laporan secara objektif dan deskriptif, tetapi juga untuk menghargai dan memahami keragaman budaya yang ada di sekitar mereka.
