Bentuk dan Kesalahan Penggunaan Bahasa di Meseum Kebaharian Jakarta Situs Marunda Rumah Si Pitung: Suatu Kajian Lanskap Linguistik
Abstract
Lanskap Linguistik (LL) telah menjadi bidang penelitian yang cukup dinamis. Kajiannya berfokus pada pemakaian bahasa di ruang publik. Hal tersebut berlaku juga di museum. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan bentuk dan kesalahan penggunaan bahasa di Museum Kebaharian Jakarta Situs Marunda Rumah Si Pitung dalam lanskap linguistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Data berupa gambar visual dikumpulkan dengan cara dipotret dan didokumentasikan kemudian diklasifikasikan, dianalisis, dan diinterpretasikan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk bahasa yang digunakan di museum meliputi kata, frasa, kalimat, dan wacana. Elemen-elemen ini berfungsi untuk memberikan informasi yang efektif, mulai dari penamaan objek hingga narasi mendalam tentang sejarah dan budaya lokal. Terkait kesalahan penggunaan bahasa, ditemukan beberapa kesalahan penggunaannya, seperti ketidaksesuaian ejaan, tata bahasa, dan istilah tidak baku yang berpotensi memengaruhi pemahaman pengunjung. Kesalahan-kesalahan ini menunjukkan perlunya revisi dari pengelola untuk meningkatkan kualitas komunikasi di Museum Kebaharian Jakarta Situs Marunda Rumah Si Pitung.
