Deiksis dalam Antologi Cerpen Pilihan Kompas 2019 dan Implikasinya terhadap Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis penggunaan deiksis dalam Antologi Cerpen Pilihan Kompas 2019 dan mengetahui seberapa banyak penggunaan jenis-jenis deiksis dalam antologi cerpen tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan penulis pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dalam menyusun langkah kerja. Selain itu, metode yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, yaitu metode yang menggambarkan kenyataan yang terdapat dalam suatu riset data-data kualitatif yang telah diperoleh. Setelah penulis melakukan penelitian mengenai deiksis dalam Antologi Cerpen Pilihan Kompas 2019, dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat jenis-jenis deiksis, yaitu deiksis persona 303 temuan dengan persentase 42%, deiksis tempat 147 temuan dengan persentase 20%, deiksis waktu 108 temuan dengan persentase 15%, deiksis wacana 42 temuan dengan persentase 6%, dan deiksis sosial 123 temuan dengan persentase 17%. Berdasarkan data yang telah diperoleh, penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan deiksis persona memiliki jumlah yang lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan penggunaan deiksis lainnya dalam Antologi Cerpen Pilihan Kompas 2019 tersebut. Deiksis persona yang digunakan dalam antologi cerpen tersebut berupa deiksis persona pertama tunggal dan jamak, deiksis persona kedua tunggal dan jamak, serta deiksis persona ketiga tunggal dan jamak. Hal ini menandakan bahwa deiksis persona tidak hanya digunakan untuk kata ganti penutur saja, tetapi juga untuk menyapa mitra tutur sehingga jumlahnya lebih dominan dibandingkan deiksis lainnya.
