Menulis Cerita Pendek Melalui Pembelajaran Dengan Metode Mind Mapping
Abstract
Penelitian ini berguna untuk mengkaji pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek melalui metode mind mapping pada siswa kelas IV UPTD SDN 21 BARRU. Pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek pada kenyataanya memuat berbagai permasalahan.Selain itu,menulis cerita pendek juga masih kurang diminati oleh siswa di antaranya, kesulitan siswa untuk memulai proses menulis, siswa kesulitan untuk mengembangkan pikirannya ,ide atau gagasan dan menganggap menulis merupakan hal yang sulit,membosankan dan kurang menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bahwa pembelajaran menulis atau cerita pendek melalui metode mind mapping yang akan mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam menulis, membantu siswa dalam menemukan ide dan gagasan, serta bertujuan untuk membuka pikiran siswa dalam memetakan gagasan ide pemikiran.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk membuat deskripsi secara alami melalui objek dengan akurat, faktual dan sistematis. Hasil penelitian dari menulis cerita pendek melalui pembelajaran metode mind mapping menunjukan bahwa siswa mendapatkan nilai rata-rata, yaitu tes awal mendapatkan nilai 47 dan tes akhir mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 86. Dengan demikian, metode mind mapping dapat menjadi strategi pembelajaran yang sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek pada siswa. Metode ini dapat membantu siswa untuk menghasilkan ide-ide kreatif, membangun alur cerita yang koheren, dan meningkatkan kualitas penulisan mereka secara keseluruhan.
