MENINGKATKAN LITERASI PEMBELAJARAN MAHASISWA INTERNASIONAL UNIVERSITAS NEGERI SEMARANG DENGAN BLENDED LEARNING
Abstract
Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengenalkan Blended Learning kepada mahasiswa kelas internasional di Universitas Negeri Semarang. Dua mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah BPMPK dan Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini telah dilaksanakan di Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Inggris dengan melibatkan satu kelas mahasiswa internasional Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris yang berjumlah 25 mahasiswa dengan bekerja sama dengan BPMPK yang menjadi mitra dengan memberikan supervisi, pendampingan dan evaluasi terhadap proses kegiatan pengabdian ini. Metode dalam kegiatan ini adalah dalam bentuk workshop atau pelatihan selama tiga pertemuan yang melibatkan tim pengabdi dan tim BPMPK. Kegiatan workshop memberikan materi pemanfaatan Blended Learning yakni bagaimana mahasiswa pendidikan Bahasa Inggris kelas internasional dapat memanfaatkan Blended Learning dalam kegiatan praktek mengajar ketika mereka terjun dalam kegiatan mengajar seperti PPL maupun dunia kerja. Blended Learning dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan satu Learning Management System yakni Edmodo. Dengan kegiatan ini diharapkan ada transfer ilmu terkait dengan ICT kepada mahasiswa internasional sehingga mereka dapat bersaing dalam era global.
