Based on the observation that males felt anxious caused their thought while females felt anxious caused their feeling, it was discovered that male and female students' anxiety was affected by gender differences in their speaking at seminar presentation. There were several factors that caused students to be anxious about their speaking abilities, including internal factors such as students' self-perception, perception of language, language difficulties (speech anxiety), and external factors such as social judgment. The factors divided into three categories: linguistic factors, which cover linguistic difficulties (speech anxiety), psychological factors, and environmental factors. As a result, it is suggested that English lecturer get to know with the anxiety displayed by male and female students in EFL classroom interactions. By becoming acquainted with the gender differences in students' anxiety in speaking, English lecturer can reduce gender bias and decrease students' anxiety in speaking.
