Analisis Persepsi Mahasiswa Terhadap Pelanggaran Norma Tata Bahasa Indonesia di Chat Grup Mahasiswa
Abstract
Penelitianinibertujuanmenganalisispersepsimahasiswaterhadappelanggaran norma tata bahasa Indonesia di chat grup WhatsApp mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED). Fenomenapelanggaran norma tata bahasadalamkomunikasi digital semakinmasifseiringmeluasnyapenggunaanaplikasipesaninstansebagai media komunikasiakademik. Penelitianinimenggunakanpendekatankualitatifdeskriptifdenganteknikpengumpulan data melaluiwawancaramendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasiterhadap lima informanmahasiswaFakultas Ilmu Sosial UNIMED. Analisis data dilakukanmelaluitigatahapan Miles dan Huberman, yaitureduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi/penarikankesimpulan. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkantigatemuanutama. Pertama, pelanggaran norma tata bahasaterjadihampirsetiaphari di chat grupkampus, meliputisingkatanberlebihanseperti “yg”, “dgn”, dan “utk”, campurkodebahasaInggris dan bahasadaerah, sertapenggunaan kata tidakbaku; mahasiswaumumnyabelummenyadaripenyimpangantersebutkarenamenyamakangrupkampusdengangruppertemananbiasa. Kedua, pelanggaran norma bahasaberdampaknyataterhadapkualitaskomunikasiakademikberupamiskomunikasi, ambiguitasinformasi, dan penurunancitraprofesionalismemahasiswa di matadosen. Ketiga, mahasiswacenderungmemilihpendekatanpasifdenganmenjaditeladandalamberbahasa yang baik, dan secarainstitusionalmendorongperlunyakebijakanresmi, panduankomunikasitertulis, serta program pendidikanberbahasa di lingkungankampus. Penelitianinimenegaskanbahwapenangananpelanggaran norma tata bahasa di ruangkomunikasi digital akademikmemerlukansinergiantarakesadaran individual mahasiswa dan dukungankebijakaninstitusionalperguruantinggi.
