Analisis Tingkat Pemahaman Siswa SD Negeri 101783 Desa Saentis Kec. Percut Sei Tuan terhadap Konsep Panca Indra dan Preferensi Penggunaan Media Video dalam Pembelajaran
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman siswa kelas IV SD 101783 Desa Saentis Kec. Percut Sei Tuan terhadap materi panca indra serta mengidentifikasi media pembelajaran yang disukai. Panca indra merupakan materi dasar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) yang berkaitan erat dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa, namun pemahaman terhadap konsep ini sering kali masih rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket tertutup yang terdiri dari 10 pernyataan. Angket dibagikan secara langsung kepada seluruh siswa kelas IV dan hasilnya dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa belum memahami dengan baik materi panca indra, meliputi bagian-bagian organ, fungsi, serta cara menjaga kesehatannya. Sebaliknya, dari sisi preferensi belajar, mayoritas siswa menyatakan lebih senang jika guru menggunakan media audiovisual berupa video atau animasi dibandingkan metode konvensional. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa media pembelajaran yang menarik, interaktif, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik anak sekolah dasar dapat membantu meningkatkan pemahaman mereka.
