Ragam Fungsi Bahasa Pelesetan Pada Singkatan PPKM (Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat) Di Era Pandemi Covid-19
Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis bahasa pelesetan untuk singkatan PPKM dan mendeskripsikan fungsi atau tujuan pelesetan tersebut. Data penelitian ini berupa kata-kata pembentuk kepanjangan untuk PPKM yang diperoleh dari Instagram. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan analisis konten. Observasi dilakukan dengan menyimak singkatan-singkatan PPKM d Instagram lalu didokumentasikan dengan pemotret screenshoot atau print screen yang selanjutnya dianalisi konten atau isinya, diklasifikasikan menurut fungsi atau tujuannya. Selanjutnya data dianalisis melalui reduksi, penyajian dan verifikasi data. Temuan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 70 data dengan 25 singkatan PPKM yang memiliki fungsi atau tujuan humor, 33 data bertujuan promosi, 5 data bermuatan kritik sosial, dan 5 data menyatakan motivasi. Dari data-data tersebut, pelesetan PPKM yang memiliki fungsi promosi lebih dominan dibanding yang bertujuan humor sehingga bisa disimpulkan bahwa PPKM membuat masyarakat lebih kreatif di dalam membuat promosi-promosi terkait usahanya usahanya tetap eksis.
