Pemetaan Kebutuhan Siswa sebagai Dasar Pengembangan Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif untuk IPAS Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
This study investigates the learning-media requirements of sixth-grade students as an empirical starting point for designing interactive multimedia for Science and Social Studies (IPAS) in elementary education. The work represents the Analysis phase of a Research and Development study guided by the ADDIE framework. Participants were 30 sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Teluk Kemang in the second semester of the 2025/2026 school year. Data were obtained through a ten-statement five-point Likert questionnaire covering three domains: students’ interest and learning experience in IPAS, prior experience with instructional media, and preferences concerning the visual presentation of multimedia. Responses were summarized through descriptive statistics, particularly frequencies and percentages, and visualized with tables and pie charts. The results indicate a clear demand for richer and more interactive learning support. In particular, 76.67% of respondents strongly agreed that instructional media assist their understanding of IPAS, and 63.33% strongly agreed that learning videos are useful. Visual design emerged as the strongest preference: 76.67% strongly agreed that colorful illustrations increased their interest, while 90.00% strongly agreed that appealing images and color combinations enhanced their learning enthusiasm. Students also emphasized readable wording and suitable typography. These findings suggest that the planned multimedia should combine concise text, illustrations, animation, video, and interactive tasks in an uncluttered interface. The needs profile serves as the empirical reference for establishing the initial product specifications before entering the Design phase of ADDIE.
